About Our Family

Randal Scott Brown-

I was saved around my twelfth birthday while visiting a friend at Faith Baptist in Bakersfield, CA. The young man who taught the lesson that night opened the Scriptures and explained the gospel. I bowed my head and accepted the Lord Jesus as my Savior. Shortly after my salvation, I began attending First Bible Baptist Church. I surrendered to be a missionary to Japan at summer camp a few years later. I graduated from Heartland Baptist Bible College in 2015. I came home to FBBC and have served in nearly every ministry over the last six years. At our missions conference in April of 2021, the Lord impressed on us that now He was calling us to go to Japan to plant churches. We began preparations in earnest over the summer and plan to be in Japan by December 2024.

I grew up in a Christian home and came to realize my need for salvation when I was eight years old. While attending First Baptist Church of Bridgeport, MI I saw that I was a sinner and needed Jesus, but held off. I was under conviction, so I prayed in my bedroom the next morning and accepted Jesus as my Savior. I was baptized the following Sunday. In 1998 my family moved back home to Oklahoma City and we began attending Southwest Baptist Church. At Texoma Baptist Youth Camp, God called me to serve Him with my life in full time ministry. I met my husband while attending Heartland Baptist Bible College in 2008. We were married in 2010 and have been serving together in Bakersfield, CA since 2015.
